Ziricote Proxy Core cup #7

Just a gorgeous piece of ziricote! This one really needs to be seen in person to appreciate the level of intricacy in the grain pattern. The second and third pictures show a "crack". This is a natural occurrence in ziricote, the grain isn't uniform in anyway and its so dense, the tree can stree itself deep inside the hardwood. There's no impact on function or durability but you must be aware of this fact prior to purchase.
