HADES – Signed Daddio (Daddy O) Custom Snorkel Tube, 2007 Signed and dated "DADDY O 2007" on the base, this custom one-of-one snorkel tube comes from the golden era of American heady glass. Commissioned in 2007 and preserved in my collection since new, the piece became known as "Hades" for its dark presence and fiery orange-and-aqua linework flowing through the black tubing. Features include a snorkel mouthpiece, large implosion marble topper, multiple sculptural marbles, silver-fume marble work, and intricate bow tie-style linework throughout. The sculpted horns, footed base, and dynamic composition give the piece a strong display presence from every angle. This is an authentic early Daddio custom in excellent condition with no known chips, cracks, or repairs.
